Do you ever wonder what is going on? Things have been quiet here at Paper Craft by Elaine. We are going to share all the changes both good and bad. Of course, there are some of both.

Let’s start here with what is going on with Stampin’ Up! I have been so excited being a Stampin’ Up! team leader for the last 8 years. You, my wonderful customers, have been so supportive, fun and have all become valued friends. However, Stampin’ Up! and I are not seeing eye to eye on which direction crafting should be going. I am hearing you when you tell me that money is tight. So, Cindy and I put our heads together to create a card class that gave you products. Then we showed you how you can use stamps set and dies you already have in your craft room. Our way of adding value to the stamp set and resources that you have at home.

What’s going on?

Stampin’ Up! on the other hand is increasing prices and they are having some quality issues. You may be aware, that Stampin’ Up! has discontinued the Stamparatus, their number one selling product in the last several years. Stampin Up! was sued by My Sweet Petunia, the designer of the Misti stamping tool. Stampin’ Up! was in breach of the Misti patent. The court decision was handed down and Stampin’ Up! has appealed for the second time. Other stamping companies, such as Tim Holtz, stopped producing their similar product ending their lawsuit. But Stampin’ Up! did not and now has been fined by the court for billions of dollars. Of course, the appeal has postponed them from needing to pay right away. I feel they should respect the patent laws. (search My Sweet Petunia vs Stampin Up on Google.)

We want to show and teach our friends and customers about all other ways to craft. For example; would you like to learn how to add color to your stamped images with a stencil? Other crafting companies offer this option as part of their bundle price. It is so easy and the results makes the imagine look real. Real as in pick the roses and smell them real.

This card was created with the

Altenew Morning Aster bundle. (Stamps, dies and stencils)

We fell in love with this bundle. In fact, we are going to be giving all of our May card club members this full bundle. Then we are going to teach how to make cards using the new Morning Aster bundle set. We are not going to raise the card club price (currently $30). That’s just another great thing about us opening up our new available tools for crafting. Would you like to join us? Click here

Morning Aster Bundle includes stamp set, dies, stencils and blending . Regular price $35.

Are you interested in more than just stamping and die cutting? We are! Our new classes will be offering the chance to learn new techniques using the products you have in your home. On some occasion, we will be giving members new tools to enjoy. Come join us on this exciting new journey and join our card club. It is $30 a month, for the great products, (no obligation to purchase additional products), a PDF with instruction in person and online demonstration. Learn more here or email us at support@pelletiercraftstudio.com if you have any questions. We hope to see you there!
