WHAT?? Framelits and mechanic tray, what do they have in common?  The best secret you will ever learn when it comes to not loosing your framelits. How often are you looking for framelits after dropping them, or laying them on the counter? One time, I lost two in one sitting. Only to find one on the back of my Stamparatus. Oh, and while moving around my craft table, I found another one (I lost last year before Christmas), under the edge of desk table. (It sits flat on the floor! How on earth did it get there?) Solution to not loosing framelits is in the mechanic tray.

Problem: Loosing framelits, die cuts, pins, pens, or anything with metal on it!

Solution: A mechanic tool tray and a pick up magnet. You can find these at your local mechanic store. In my area, Auto Zone or Advance Auto, perfect place to pick one up cheap. For under $15 the results of keeping up with your framelits are fantastic. Here is a pictures to help you identify these tools.

I know you think I have lost my mind. But this is perfect way to stop loosing framelits and other metal tools. Dropped my piercing tool behind the craft table. Of course, it did not fall all the way down. Used the Magnet Pick up Tool and pulled it right out.  Dropped the small gear framelit in the Geared up Garage Framelits set, after looking everywhere, I picked up my Magnet Pick up Tool and swapped it across the floor, edge of my desk and in my dogs bed. Yep, Bella was laying on top of it. 

This magnet tray is the best place to lay all your framelits. You will never loose one again.

Framelits and Mechanic Tray a great combination. 

I realized I had the perfect solution to help prevent future drops off the desk. A Magnet Mechanic Tray. This tray is one tough magnet. It has a magnet on the bottom, so I can stick it to the side of my metal cart with the Big Shot on top. When I take off the framelits, I simple hold it close to this tray and it grabs it, holding it tight to the tray. During classes, I put it next to the Big Shot. Customer are asked to put the framelits in the tray. Ooops someone forgets!. Framelits will migrate to the tray. LOVE IT!! 

Time to shop without fear of loosing your framelits! Now you can purchase all the framelits you want without fear of loosing them. 🙂
