Decorating for Christmas on a Budget can be a tall order. Let’s take a look at some great projects you can do to create that holiday cheer on a budget.
Christmas ornaments. First of all, homemade Christmas ornaments create memories that last a lifetime. So let’s make them even more special by inviting the children or grandchildren to help with these projects. You are going to need a few tools, depending on what style you want for your tree. Let’s start with a tree for the kids, by using Signs of Santa Bundle. (147911). For a quick cut and go, I probably would recommend the Santa’s Workshop Designer Series Paper (147809) as well.
Christmas boxes are so easy. I am using the Clear Tiny Treat Boxes (141699) 2x2x2 square boxes from Stampin’ Up. Quick and easy. With 16 boxes in one pack, you are going to have a beautiful Christmas Tree with handmade ornaments. Just make the box and decorate. In this case just cut paper.

2x2x2 clear boxes make quick and easy ornaments. Your little ones are going to enjoy making this one.
Look closes and you will see the copper thread allowing the elves to hang from the box. Get your 2x2x2 Clear boxes NOW.
What about ornaments made with Chipboard. Be sure to do both sides as you know they seldom hang facing forwards….. Or at least mine never do. (Hint: want to know where to get the chipboard? Some DSP comes with chipboard in the back. IT’S FREE)
Let’s use Dashing Deer Bundle (149935) and the Wood Texture DSP 6×6 (144177).
Dashing Deer bundle is great for your Christmas Cards as well. So make a few decoration then enjoy the rest of the supplies for making Christmas cards.
This card was made with the silver foiled edged cards and envelope set. Stamped the Dashing Deer and added the iridescent box wood wreath embellishment (147803). Simple click the items below to order this supplies.
