Bringing Life to Paper
A Floral Creation is always beautiful since they remind us of soft and delicate things. The Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper which is one of our beautiful new Designer Series Papers which happens to be one of my new favorites and a floral creation in itself. While you can never go wrong with flowers, I do wonder how much work goes into putting them to paper. Have you ever wondered how our Designer Series Paper comes to life? Although it doesn’t really take as long as you might think to create it. It’s the perfect paper for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays and even Mother’s Day. Just look at how beautiful it is below.
The Floral Creation is Born
There is always a process to customizing anything, therefore a lot of effort and careful designing goes into all our Designer Series Papers. Each one is thought out for different themes. Also, there is the additional planning of our Stampin’ Up! colors to coordinate with. Take a moment to view the video below from Stampin’ Up!. Watch Kaitlyn give you a behind the scenes look at the process of creating our DSP. Most of all you get a first hand look at how the Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper was born.
Because of all the attention to detail, we have a beautiful product. So we almost forget how much planning goes into every product in our annual catalog. How lucky to be able to get a glimse into the life of a Stampin’ Up! Deisgner.
Project Samples
Since I love this paper so much, I want to share some wonderful samples. As beautiful as the flowers are don’t forget to look at the other side. My heart jumped for joy when I saw the marble design. Take a close look as I have used this side as the background for the pictures and added it to a few of the cards.

Petal Promenade designer series is almost a card on its on. Sometimes simple is best. The beautiful floral creation makes for a perfect background. Matched with the stitched label thinlits and you have a quick and easy to make handmade card.

See how the edging looks 3D? Easy to use and the results are awesome. This card adds a new color to the mix, bring out so much more than just the pinks and greens. Also notice the painted pearls add a touch of shim and shine to the card.

Much as I love the Petal Promenade DSP, when you add the detail laser cut, it creates a more subtle appearance. This photograph does not do this card justice. It seems like the ribbon is dark here when it’s not. What can I say, you can’t be good at everything.

While the paper is the marble side of the Pedal Promenade DSP, it’s combined with the Serena Garden Bundle. Looks like you could reach out and touch it. As a result, it’s really hard to choose which side to use, the DSP is that beautiful. Make it easy on yourself and Order 2 packs here
