Since we are always in need of a great male card, it’s probably a good idea to have a plan. Hence, the Paper Pumpkin for May 2018 from Stampin Up is perfect. The second I saw this one I knew what I wanted it to look like. In addition, it’s probably the perfect kit for Father’s Day. Since my father is no longer with me, I always send my son’s Father’s Day Cards. After all they are the fathers of my grandchildren. But this kit gives you so much more than just a Father’s Day card for your Dad or son. You can make a card for every man in your life because there are stamps for brother, nephew, uncle, son, granddad, cousin, etc.
Combining May 2018 Paper Pumpkin with WaterFront stamp set is a perfect match.
Most of all, I am totally in love with the WaterFront Stamp Set. As a result, when I saw the trees in this kit, well, the rest is history. First of all, with the Mossy Meadow ink pad and the trees from the WaterFront stamp set, it was just a matter of random stamping. Also, I used the Coastal Cabana ink pad to stamp the water on the Mint Macaron card stock. Soft Suede and Crumb Cake ink pads made the mountains pop and come alive. All of these stamps are in the Waterfront stamp set. Therefore, the May 2018 Paper Pumpkin alternative was super easy. So here is a close up for you to enjoy.
Father’s Day is about all fathers, even when your son has grown into a father himself. The May 2018 Paper Pumpkin makes a great Father’s Day card.
I also enjoy having other options for the kit. It’s probably always a good idea to have options since you have the products. So because of this, I like the fact that another alternative for the May 2018 Paper Pumpkin is to make it into an Anniversary card. While the kit does give you everything you need, you could probably add almost any little extra accessories you have on hand.
